The 27th NORCECA Congress was held over the weekend in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Cristobal Marte Hoffiz was re-elected as the President of NORCECA.
NORCECA’s Executive Committee and Board of Administration for 2024 – 2028 was also confirmed. Our President, Jacqueline Cowan was reappointed to the Board of Administration.
Five Jamaicans have been appointed to 6 NORCECA Working Commissions for 2024 – 2028 (see attached). They are:
- President, Jacqueline Cowan – Sports Organising Commission
- Mr. O’Neil Ebanks – Development Commission
- General Secretary, Audley Weir – Beach Volleyball Commission & Technical, Statistics and VIS
- Dr. Gillian Lawrence – Medical Commission
- Ms. Cheryl Daley – Athletes Commission
